Employment to released prisoners

The Prisons and Correctional Services Department is always at the forefront in providing the employment to the released prisoners as a part of rehabilitation of prisoners. At present, total 183 released prisoners are provided employment at department run retail fuel outlets. The wages to released prisoners are reviewed from time to time. These measures are very helpful to the inmates facing difficulty in finding employment and livelihood opportunities immediately after the release
