The Sub Jail, Bhongir was taken from Judiciary Department in 1989 on 03.10.1989 by Sri. Umapathi, then Deputy Jailor has assumed the charge of Superintendent, Sub Jail, Bhongir under the control of the District Sub jails Officer, Nalgonda. This institute is having authorized capacity of 25 prisoners (22 male and 03 female). The prisoners are classified and segregated while on admission and detained at separate Barracks.
