District Jail, Adilabad

The new jail building was constructed during 2005-06 and began administration in 2007, with an authorized lockup capacity of 331 (295 males and 31 females). The total land area of the jail is 28.18 acres, with the main jail constructed on 4 acres, comprising seven buildings, including: (1) Parivarthan Bhavan, (2) Suraksha Bhavan, (3) Nari Sadan, (4) Suruchi Bhavan, and (5) the Administrative Building.
