Prisoner's Agricultural Colony, Warangal

Upon the closure of Central Prison, Warangal on June 10, 2021, the Government of Telangana allotted 101 acres of land within the premises of TSSP IV Battalion and PTC, Mamnoor for the construction of a Model Central Prison, as per G.O.Ms. No. 63, Home (Legal) Department, dated June 19, 2021.

Furthermore, the Government of Telangana granted permission to establish an Open-Air Prison (Prisoners’ Agricultural Colony) within the premises of the proposed Model Central Prison at Mamnoor (Village), Khila Warangal (Mandal), Warangal District, as per G.O.Ms. No. 36, Home (Services-V) Department, dated August 5, 2022.
